Missile Command

I've been looking for a nice Missile Command for quite some time. Finally one popped up on CL nearby. It was fully working when I picked it up. Brad made a mod to the power supply and a call
to Arcadeshop for a new Trac-ball, bearing and shaft kit. Its all done and in arcade.
I'll get around to shooting a video one of these days.  Dean at Arcade sales and rental found us
a Space Invaders. A few bugs need to be worked out on that one, But can't wait to get it finished.

Quick update

Well we had a change of plans. We decided our arcade was big enough. We just needed to thin out a few games that are not being played and also a few duplicates. So if your in the Oklahoma area give me a shout, We might have a game or parts you want or need.
The arcade has been rearranged and new pics coming soon!

Its Been Hot!!!

July was a little hot to spend much time in the shop. Just this week the heat broke. Weather channel says should be under 100 all week. Maybe we can get a few projects completed!
We have a few new projects gathered up over the last couple of months.
New projects include a Venture, Wizard of Wor mini, Pole Position 2 cockpit, and maybe a vs. Duck Hunt.
Our friend Troy from Lawton Came up and helped me and Brad build a new outdoor movie Theater. There has also been talks of a new and bigger arcade building in the future.

Pole Position

Finally got around to cleaning up the Cockpit Pole Position that Arcade Sales and Rental picked up for us a few months ago. The sit down version is a lot more fun than the upright! We set the dips to TG settings and boy is it fast!  More projects in the works, Keep checking back.

The Green Machine

Arcade Sales and Rental took a trip up to Kansas to check out a warehouse. He asked if I was interested in any thing from a list, So I chose a couple to check out. The only one that was complete was a near mint Jungle King.
A little cleanup, Bulbs replaced and a call to Arcadeshop.com for a switcher adapter and she was ready for the arcade!

Thanks Dean for keeping us in mind,  It's got a new home at 2084!

Punch-out!!

Finished the Punch-out this weekend. Fresh paint, T- molding, overlay/ side art and recapped monitors. Been a project that was pushed back awaiting room in the shop. Just when I thought the projects were caught up another found it's way here (its green). Keep watching for the new game!

Good Friday

Mr Joust stopped by to pay 2084 a visit Friday April 6, 2012.

Lonnie "Lon" McDonald Showed up at around 3:00 pm and about 15 minutes later was setting in front of Brads Joust in attempt to roll the score over 10,000,000. Never getting up, In less than 5 hours we witnessed the roll over and the initials to a score of 9,999,999.

Without any hesitation he moved to the next machine, Started it up to check the controls and kept playing for another 5 hours Until it rolled. Amazing! He said it was the first time he ever flipped 2 back to back!

It was a first for Troy, Brad and myself. We had never been around a machine that was flipped before.

Very cool evening and I would like to thank Lon for letting us be a part of his record setting quest.

Turkey Shoot

Troy and Connor came up to visit from Lawton a couple of week's ago and gave me a hand on the TS. We had a number of problems with this one! We put our heads together and knocked one out at a time. We found that the biggest problem was the stupid wire plugs that Williams used.

Up next is a Nintendo classic!

A new Williams

Spoke with a guy at the Dallas auction last fall who said he had a game I was looking for. I lost his number and recently found him on KLOV. Made the contact and he still had the game available. Drove down last Friday and picked it up. What a awesome game! We are very excited to have another Williams game in the lineup. Thanks Mike!

New year

New year, New Games. Already a few new games for 2012.

During Christmas break we built a pair of Daytona Usa sitdown drivers. Next up we traveled up to Kansas to pick up a Nintendo Punch-Out Dean spotted for us, Nice working machine. I think we will completely strip and full restore. A friend traded a very nice Super Cobra in exchange for some board repair on a couple of games. Thanks Jason!
